G2S Protocol Converter

What is G2S?

The Game-to-System protocol, or G2S, is a standardized communications protocol developed by members of the Gaming Standards Association. G2S enables secure communications between gaming devices and gaming systems.  Put another way, slot machines and game terminals talk G2S to the casino's central management system, slot accounting servers, gaming voucher servers, and player tracking servers, and vice-versa.

Adding the G2S Protocol Converter to your legacy slot floor will enable it to communicate and interoperate with G2S host systems of the future.

G2S Protocol Converter features and benefits:

  • Do not have to implement the G2S Transport layers
    • Configurable Transport (settable per host)
      • RAW Straight TCP/IP (no envelope)
      • SOAP
      • HTTP
      • SOAP over HTTP
  • Insulated from future changes to the G2S Specification
  • Automatic Persistence of Messages, recovery from power failure
  • Automatic communications handling (Retries, Message Validation, Error Handling)
  • Meter subscriptions - transparent to your host
  • Event subscriptions - transparent to your host
